Installation & Remedial Works

Fire-Stopping (Passive Fire Protection)

  • Penetration sealing using approved batts & mastic systems

  • Pipe collars and wraps, intumescent sealants, fire pillows where specified

  • Soffit, head and perimeter seals to maintain compartment lines

  • Works completed to manufacturer test data and relevant standards

Fire Doors

  • Supply and installation of certified FD30/FD60 doorsets

  • Upgrades and remedials: closers, hinges, intumescent/smoke seals, glazing, letter plates and drop seals

  • Adjustments to meet required tolerances and self-closing performance

What is fire-stopping?
Fire-stopping seals gaps and service penetrations in fire-resisting walls, floors and ceilings to maintain compartmentation and slow the spread of fire and smoke.

How often should fire doors be checked?
Intervals depend on your building type, usage and risk assessment. Many sites adopt quarterly or six-monthly checks, with a full annual inspection as a minimum.

Will we receive certificates?
Yes. You’ll receive BM TRADA-recognised documentation, photo evidence and an asset register for every completed item.
